![]() ![]() Violist Shannon is an active freelance musician and violin/viola teacher. As an educator, Camille previously served as Adjunct Violin Faculty at New York University, and now enjoys teaching private violin lessons and classes to adults and kids from beginner to advanced. Camille recorded on an “American Classics” album for NAXOS label in 2017 with the National Orchestral Institute, which was nominated for a Grammy for “Best Orchestral Performance.” In addition to classical music, Camille enjoys working in all musical genres and has performed on the Roy Orbison hologram tour and recorded for Audiomack’s Trap Symphony with rapper Trippie Redd. As an orchestral musician, Camille has performed with the National Orchestral Institute, The Chelsea Symphony, and New Rochelle Opera, among others. ![]() Camille’s primary violin teachers have been Yuval Yaron and Naoko Tanaka. Prior to attending NYU, Camille received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Violin instructor Camille received her Master of Music degree from New York University in 2017, where she was honored with an award for Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in the Graduate String Studies Program. ![]()
